No Internet while making calls with Verizon

Sorry if this is old news....I recently switched from an HTC M8 (Android) to a LG Lancet. When I either make or receive a call, my internet goes to nothing.
HTC M8 didn't do this. Some have said that this is a Verizon thing. Any solution to this? My wife has a Samsung Note Edge and she has the same thing. She had a Samsung Note 2 that didn't have this problem.

Any one have any idea why this happens?

Looks like Verizon needs to enable a feature called Advanced Calling on your and your wife's phone. Check with Verizon if they have enabled it for your phones, the LG Lancet does support the feature. Meanwhile try if the guide for the Lumia 735 works for you.

Thanks for the reply. As my wife puts it to every Verizon employee she can find..." So we pay full price for half of the features of a smartphone?"

2.Tap Settings Settings icon.
3.Tap cellular+SIM.
4.Tap SIM settings.
5.Tap the Advanced Calling switch.


So this option literally doesn't exist in any of the settings on the LG Lancet. According to Verizon, as long as you subscribed to the Advance Calling Feature, all that's needed is a reboot for it to apply the feature during a simOTA. ..... So yeah, that's not working.

Really getting annoying, as I left ATT and forgot that this is still an issue on some Verizon phones, that an no small 3rd party phone makers bother with CDMA phones.
