I'm putting this out there to gage what the demand might be. I've been unemployed since October, and my wife has this nifty embroidery machine, so since stickers and t-shirts have been done, I thought I'd give hats a try to see if I could put some food on the table. Yeah, I live in the state with the highest unemployment rate (at least it was last month). Here's what the hat looks like:

Here's a short video of the machine at work.

So, like I said, I'm out of work. So I do not have a stock of hats stored up and ready for this. I'm posting to get an idea if there is demand for it or not, to see if it is worthwhile for me to bother. Please let me know in the comments below if you would be in the market for this hat, at $20. Please do not comment that you will buy one if you do not honestly believe that you will, as I am going to gage how many hats I buy on comments here. The place I'm getting hats from takes about a week to get them to me, so that's why I don't want to take orders right away, but they're good hats at a good price. The hats are 100% cotton, though I don't know what the bill is, so I'm not sure why the tag says 100% cotton. It's a pretty stiff bill, though. I'm happy with the one I'm wearing.

Now, in accordance with the rules of the marketplace, here is the requisite info:
Thread title: (WTS/WTT)
Item Description: Microsoft Flag-Waving Ninja Cat on Fire-Breathing Unicorn Embroidered Hat - as described and pictured above
Price: $20
Carrier Locked or Unlocked?: I'm pretty sure it is unlocked. You can check with your carrier to be sure it works, though.
Condition: New, embroidered by me.
Includes: Hat, thread, embroidery backing, adjustable strap (cloth strap with metal "buckle"), and there will even be some nice, warm northeast Georgia air in the box.
Item Location: Georgia
Shipping Details: Shipped USPS Priority
Payment Options: PayPal when the time comes
Additional Info: Again, I will emphasize, I am posting to gage demand, and will have to order hats. I could take orders, but understand that it will be at least a week before the hats even get to me. It takes about half an hour to do each one, so if there is demand, it could take time to process. Oh - and I'm still trying to find a job, too.

As a former Snellville resident and now Chandler, AZ, I will confirm that I will purchase one of these.

Let me know when you need payment and how you want to receive the money.

Will do. But I'm betting you just want the nice, fresh ATL air!
Actually, I'd much rather have the Chandler air, myself.

I'm on Verizon and it works just fine. I'm planning on switching to Total Wireless, though, so I will soon be able to confirm the unlocked condition.

Loved my 20 years in Georgia. The spring in N. Georgia is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. Still have a son in Lawrenceville.

As an Indiana native who has lived in IN, IL, OH, MO, FL, SC, and NY, I love it here. I'm in Flowery Branch, where the Falcons train. I'm not a sports fan, so to me, having that training facility a mile from the house is nothing more than a source of traffic jams during spring training. My wife has lived in this county all her life, and I tease her about how there is no such thing as a straight road or a flat road in GA, and forget about a straight, flat road.

I get out to Lawrenceville several times a month. I'm a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association chapter 690 in Lawrenceville, so I hit the airport as often as I can.

Ok - it was (correctly) pointed out to me that this is someone else's intellectual property, and the person who pointed it out is right. I'm a champion of IP rights, so I can't believe that I didn't think of this, so consider me appropriately ashamed of myself.

To make it right, I have reached out and sent a message to the creator asking his permission. In the meantime, until I get a response, I will leave this post up, provided it is ok with the mods, as I would still like to gage demand. Let me know if you want one.

Thanks,

Rich

Thanks, good luck.

No. Never heard back from him. Also never heard back from Daniel Rubino after I'd emailed James asking if they had his contact info, and James forwarded the email to Dan. So I guess I'm not going to go with that idea. Mods please close the thread. Thanks.
