You can use band 12 for data only, which the unlocked version doesn't even have that band at all. This makes a difference if you are in an area that uses it pretty well. For reference, and not to derail this longer, I can play Spotify from my home to work without any stopping and vice versa. Otherwise, when I arrive at work or leave it, it's hard to get anything to play (without the band) since there are a number of 2G patches at work.

I got three of these from Cricket in November 2016 for porting numbers from Sprint. I can say for budget phone they work well. I even have one on Fast ring and works fine where the 950's are having problems.

Good price for unlocked with the accessories.
