This just happened to me yesterday for the first time. I have also noticed that my signal is not nearly as strong as my Droid Thunderbolt. I never got 3G service on that phone, but on the 822 I hit 3G many times a day in Houston and surrounding areas.

I am in the same boat as you but with the 8X. I know HTC makes some quality hardware, but not having expandable storage on a new operating system that I have yet to use makes me question how far <16GB will get me. On the other hand, if the Odyssey is in any way similar to the crap my wife's...
