Hi guys. I'm considering getting a Motorola Z2 Play. Seems like the specs are comparable. One of the needs I have is a dedicated SD card slot and phones with high spec and a dedicated SD slot seem to be far and few between. Anyone used the Z2?

To follow up, for some reason the record option was restored after a few soft resets

Now experiencing this issue. Have done a soft reset a number of times to no avail. Has anyone resolved this issue?

Yes, you can wipe when leaving and restore when arriving at your destination. :)

I have been trying to view the call history on specific call on my phone. I need the time, date and duration of calls. When I view the timeline for a number or contact these details are not visible. Is there a setting I have not enabled? If this functionality is not part of the OS it is...

Think this is stored in the cloud (if you have it set to backup call history) if that's of any help?

I know this is not a great reply however, why not buy a burner just for the trip. I always have a second phone for travelling with, nothing on it, just contacts copied to the SIM.

Hi, where is the setting to enable/disable the 'hover' function located? (I am assuming you are referring to the ability to view the glance screen by passing your hand over the sensor or when removing phone from pocket/bag). Since the update I cannot find this setting

I experience the overheating issue also...phone gets extremely hot. Had a call back from MS and they were going to accept the handset back. The operator asked if the phone was so hot as to cause me to have to put the phone down and when I said no, he hung up!
