Yes, the Win10 Mobile and the 950 XL support AptX. Btw, AptX is not a codec, it is an algorithm for streaming via Bluetooth :-). I'm using the sony SBH-80 with AptX with no problems.

Well, I don't know where you're hopes were, but I'm happy with great improvement. before the C.U. I rarely was able to unlock the phone with my polarized eyewear, and now with the update I can even within an arm distance to unlock it 90% of the time.

Are you using the original wall charger? If you're connecting to the computer or to a "weak" (less than 2amp) wall charger, it won't start the phone to charge it properly if the battery reaches 0%.

I understand your point of view (and I have the same), my point is: - there ar a ton of apps when installed, put themselves as a background app (ex: games, photo apps etc..) and don't make sense to have it there. - regarding the email: if you really need the email to be received immediately...

Agree, but I still believe (even if the heat doesn't "escape" so freely) it would run cooler, or at least not hotter because of the extra thickness of the cover...it would give a bit more space to breed. either way... It won't die with the heat :-). if it gets too hot, the phone will shut down...

No heat (more than the "normal" heat of the Spnadragon 810) in the Wood one... and I believe it's even less hot than the original cover (or maybe the heat doesn't pass to the outside because of the wood.
