Just have it force the update. I've had a DVP since early January and I've done most updates that route. Only once did the update notification arrive before I could get to a computer and force the update. It's stupifyingly simple.
Trust me, I'm a doctor.
I had the "incorrect missed presses" issue maaaaybe one in a blue moon. Other wise, I've had no problems with Mango aside from the battery life is been a bit lower. I chalk that up to using the phone a lot more though.
No sluggish scrolling at all. Using a T-MO Venue Pro but with a non factory...
At this point, I don't know whether Dell would reenter the Windows Phone Arena. After the debacle that was the Venue Pro, I think they either have to nail it the first time, or save face and not repeat the situation.
I only did the update from my desktop, but I imagine the process could be the same from the mac connector. Try turning airport off or whatever right after you check for the update and see if that "forces" it.
I really hope that it isn't. I get super annoyed whenever anything I press causes mynphone to vibrate. If they do enable is, I hope it becomes an opt-in/opt-out feature only.
In the zune Desktop Application, you have to go to the video itself, right-click -> Edit and at the top left of the window that opens, it'll have a drop down bar that you can change the type of video it is categorized as.
Problem now for me is that my speakers on the phone keep cutting out here and there. I wonder if a cable inside is loose. At any rate, I can't fix it only cause the warranty is gone when I swapped out the cards.
