As far as I know, internet sharing is locked to AT&T. It will always try to connect to AT&T to make sure you have that feature, because i-sharing is only available on their 5gb plan. You would have to flash it to a stock/custom rom to be able to use it and as far as I know, no roms are available...

A few times I've used the GPS it's put me in Ohio. Couldn't figure out why. After messing with the map a little bit, it gave me the correct location.
