It is turned off but it is still broadcasting an access point named Nokia 521_116. However the Dell Venue 8 pro 8.1 cannot use it for internet access because windows 8.1 tablet says cannot setup internet sharing when you click Nokia 521_116. Hope this means no one else can access internet...

I have Lumia 635 that is broadcasting a wifi signal that shows up on my Dell Venue 8 pro 8.1 as an access point named Nokia 521_116. How can I turn this feature off on the 635? My T-Mobile phone plan does not allow sharing wifi and i do not want anyone to be able to use my wifi from my phone.

I did not use apps from sd card on 521.

I think it is a 4. I used this card with no problems in a 521.

Ok I installed window phone software on DVP and then plugged in the 521 with the OTG and cable but no joy. Phone does show up on windows 7 laptop and windows 8 pc.

I have a working usb otg cable that works with usb thumb drives on my DVP. When I connect to WP and the DVP it does not displaly the phone nokia 521.

My win 8.1 phone and windows 8.1 dell venue 8 pro tab tablet will pair but only for appx. 20-30 seconds. The tablet then says not connected to phone. Other blue devices will connect and stay connected to tablet without issues.
