I used to be a case/screen protector junkie.. starting with iphones. Somewhere in my 920 ownership I just decided to go commando. Didn't hesitate to run naked on 830.

Dev Preview works great on the 830 in my experience. To the best of my knowledge the 830 comes baked in with the latest and greatest update (Denim).

I paid the $99 contract upgrade. I'll pay off contract when a <6" flagship comes around.

I ordered through ATT and did pickup in store. Very easy. There was even a guy there who was a "windows phone" guy. Crazy!

Yeah I don't know what the deal is. My 920 didn't have lag with full size tile. It definitely made a difference on my 830. Seems to be different for a lot of people. Curious....

Honestly I don't know what the changes were. I just figured I would initiate an update check and one was there.

In case this helps anyone, I re-upped my ATT from my 920 to 830 and found a few necessary tweaks (for me). At first I was pretty unimpressed with the 830. I've since changed my tune but would definitely NOT pay off-contract price for it. Coming from the 920 I just wasn't used to such a light...
