I feel the same way whenever I'm forced to watch one of those awful Katherine Heigl movies. Ha. ​The 1520 phablet is just too big for my tastes. That's why I was leaning towards the Icon, 830, or M8.

The update finally finished after about 5 hours.

No luck. I'm not able to power down the phone. As soon as the phone powers down, it restarts, shows the HTC screen, and then goes directly to the gears screen.

My Verizon HTC 8X has been stuck on the gears screen for the past few hours. Is there anything I can do? Or is my phone basically dead? I have tried powering the phone off, but it just restarts and goes directly to the gears screen.
