    Mytube like app on android?

So WC can write countless articles about myTube! and other 3rd party YouTube apps that allow you to download videos and bypass ads, but when people wish to discuss them on the forums, it's forbidden all of a sudden? Ok...

Huh? What do Win32 Desktop programs have to do with anything? We're talking phones here.

Most apps are fine on Droid, including Outlook IMO. Groove is probably the worst. Does not read any local music, stream via service or OneDrive only. All downloaded songs are encrypted and you cannot even set it to cache to SD card. Gonna have to find a different music player for Android and PC...

If you want transparent tiles, get and Android, get Square Home 2 and Whicons icon pack. No need to beg Microsoft to do a 2 minute job that'll take them 6 months.

My 950XL manages to reboot on its own... every two days in fact. Such amazing error self-recovery! Wow. So yes they're unfit for purpose even without the app issue. 650s were meant to be for the enterprise but they're incredibly unreliable.

Yet I have adult users coming up to me every day complaining about their complicated, unintuitive and broken Lumia 650s, asking for iPhones instead. Lucky for them, Microsoft is no longer making anything, so I'm giving them their iPhones 6Ss.

Oh I understand trying to hold onto something you like for as long as you can... I jumped from WM6.5 Pro to WP8.1, 'cause I hated WP7. That's a long time... then again I had working Google maps on WM6.5.5 Pro, so maybe I don't understand. I'm not trying to force you to switch RIGHT NOW! I'm...

Windows Phone Is Dead Beyond Resurrection

Oh yeah, a handful of comments on a WINDOWS-FOCUSED forum. Windows Phone market share must be massive! There are over 2 billion Smartphone users, 99.6% of Smartphones are iOS and Android. How many use Windows Phone? A few hundred thousand at most? That's a needle in a haystack. UWP is still...

Eh? I use Droid 'cause it's shorter than Android. Simple as that. I'm also from Europe, so I don't use Verizon. Even if I was in the US I'd NEVER give my money to any CDMA-based carrier.

Well I use both on my droid, depending on which one's better. I use Outlook, OneNote and Office because that's what I use on my PC and I find them better than Gmail and Google docs. I use Google, Google Translate and Google maps instead of Bing services, because I find those better. I also use...

Eeeem? Office apps work fine on 4.4 and up. Lolipop is 5. Outlook runs on 4.1. Office Mobile runs on 4.0... So on and so forth. Skype requires Android 4.0.3. Does Skype run on WP 8.1? No it does not. WP8.1 is a lot newer, but Microsoft doesn't care. It's not even about OS updates, it's about NOT...

Yes and 5 years ago I ignored them. Why? Because Devices were being actively released, especially Lumias, which were always the "Samsungs of the WP". They were also being marketed and boy was Nokia making some great ads. There have been little to no ads about W10M, on the other hand, and we've...

"Battling" being the key word. Windows Phone was "Battling" under Ballmer. Nadella gave up immediately, and there is no makreting whatsoever, nor any new devices for almost 2 years. One must be insane to still think that this has any future.

Mobile Hardware / OS business, not tech in general. That's what they've been doing for the past two years. No marketing, no devices. MS apps working better on other platforms. Nokia would at least market its phones...

Windows Phone Is Dead Beyond Resurrection

Seeing all these news about NYPD switching from Windows Phone to iPhones reminded me of my own work place and its clients (I work for a Managed Services Provider so I know what many businesses are using). We've been using Windows Phones (Mostly Lumia 650s /735s) and now they're all being...
