I've decided to just ship it off to HTC, it's not worth the risk for such an expensive phone... I'm going to buy a case for it in the meantime!

As the title states, I managed to accidentally drop my month-old 8X onto the ground whilst getting up to open a door for someone (it was on my lap at the time), and it fell on the corner, and cracked the glass. I could take my phone to my carrier, which would cost me $80+, but I was wondering...

Yep, got up from my chair, and forgot it was on my lap... It fell approximately 2 feet or so, and landed on the corner...
