Wireless charging painfully slow on W10M

Since 10586.36 (and .29) I noticed on my Lumia 1520 a MASSIVE decrease in wireless charging (Qi) performance. Battery fills up less than 10% per hour. That is devastating. With earlier build and 8.1 it took around 3 hours for a complete charge from 0% to 100%. Anybody else noticed this?

Android, iOS and then Windows Mobile. Microsoft's app development priority...

Totally agree with you. I don't know what most people do with Office that they not already ran into some of the limitation of the WP version. Also, why should it be different with Office than any other App: the Windows Apps always lacks features or functionality compared to their Android or iOS...

    W10M release dates? Answers inside...

Good joke. With the latest statement about "early" next year for the 8.1 phones and the way the whole insider program goes, flagship phones being shipped with betafirmware, the Onedrive-unlimited-storage-mess and the announcement that you need Office365 subscription to use the apps for continuum...

    What's up with new 10586.36?

And what remains is bugs, bugs, bugs and more bugs.

    Universal apps are failing

Universal apps have potential and I not see them as a big immediate fail. But actors can only perform well if they have a proper stage. And that is missing. A few technerds and fanboys running W10M Insider Preview builds and even less people just recently bought a 950 / 950XL is NOT enough. Apps...

Windows 10 mobile release date please... It's already December 2015

Why blame the carriers? IF there is a RTM then we should have it available on the insider program, right? But I don't see any of that showing up to insiders yet. And why would MSFT hold it back (to insiders) when it is available already? For sure there is a delay due to carrier approval and...

After 10586, to Remain or not to Remain - the Insider's Dilemma

Well, I also voted to stay on fast ring. But not out of fun or satisfaction but desperation. By time WP8.1 is (even more) retarded and limited compared to the other two mainstream mobile OS. So if you wanna catch up even a little you "have to" enroll in fast ring. Bottom line of all those...

    WiFi roaming not working

Yup, even tried over at my friends house and it's the same problem there as well. I also report feedback a while ago...but I guess we won't get it fixed.

Nadella should he stay or should he go?

It was just the ****** theory that W10M is tailored for business so general consumers have to deal with limitations. MSFT is behind in BOTH. Same here. Even simple things like the fact that Word cannot open a .txt file. Or I often get config files (with different extensions) and although they...

    WiFi roaming not working

I use 3 accesspoints to get coverage of my house and garden. Mobile devices roaming and switch over to the AP with the best signal. Well all do except, guess it, Lumia 1520 with build 86. So far I have tried various setups: same SSID, channel and encryption for all APs; same SSID, different...

Build 10586 stable enough as daily driver?

No, it is no advised (even by MSFT) to have it as daily driver. Just take a look here on the forums and you know why...

After 1 week with the 950 - Is Microsoft really comitted to a mobile OS?

And, don't forget to say, a MSFT-biased forum and criticism is not tolerated here. There are tony of threads here even with the bugs and flaws of the latest build. That is enough facts. Specs of hardware is nothing if the software is not up to take full advantage. Plus the delay over and over...

How can I get Glance Background Beta working on my 920?

Re: Glance Background Beta There is no support for glance background app anymore. For those who confused what we talk about it is seen in this image with the weather app set as glance background app in WP8.1 http://www.clintonfitch.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/Glance-Screen-on-Lumia-1320.jpg

    Build 10586 RTM ready?

No. I share my experience I gathered over the last months with the Insider builds on my L1520, especially with the latest one that claims to be RTM status and is pre-installed on the new flagship phones. And I find myself not much off from what major tech websites and blogs point out in their...

    Build 10586 RTM ready?

Total rubbish and not a big step forward. Do not use it as daily driver! Although this is what MS delivers on the new flagship phones. Highend hardware for lots of $$$ with beta software. No wonder the reviews for the new phones are devastating.
