Does the Nokia 520 support the new 128GB SD card?

Actually, if you just use the phone as a music player (like I do), it makes perfect sense to put a more expensive SD card in there. Good to know that it should be supported.

Does the Nokia 520 support the new 128GB SD card?

I saw somewhere that the 520 would support the 128GB SDCard. Has anyone tried?

Was Glance the Reason the Icon was "Delayed?"

The supposed reason is a memory limitation with the screen... which makes no sense at all.

    No Glance support?!!!

Yeah, I'm not sure I buy that either. You mean this phone can handle displaying full 1080p, videos, whatever else, but can't handle the monochrome Glance, which only lights up the individual pixels it needs? What could Glance possibly be doing that's so memory intensive?

    No Glance support?!!!

I asked for them to elaborate: Me: Thanks for the response. But can you elaborate? Is it the high resolution AMOLED screen that's a problem? Other devices like the 928 had AMOLED but supported Glance. As it stands now, with no notification light and no Glance, there's no way to see your...

    No Glance support?!!!

So, I asked NokiaUS via their Facebook page about possible future support for Glance. Doesn't look good: Me: Nokia US, is there any chance that the Icon will be able to support Glance and double-tap to wake in the future? I came from the Lumia 928 and am really missing those features...

Android conversion N00B, how can I...

That's usually where it is, but alas, on the Icon, we have no double-tap to wake. :crying:

Nokia Lumia Icon Bugs and Defects

Sounds like it might be the Qi coil unit that's giving way.

Just played with the Icon, have some questions for you old WP users...

There is no Glance on the 520... just double-tap to wake.

Verizon Intentionally Crippled The Lumia Icon Just As They Did To the Lumia 928

Way to belittle people with different priorities. Some people like to keep their music collection on their phones. That's enough reason for some to think 32GB isn't enough, and enough reason for you to not question why they need it. And, if you can keep all your music and videos on your...

    No Glance support?!!!

Why would Verizon not want Glance on their flagship WP?

    No Glance support?!!!

I'm not buying it either. Can you ask them exactly what hardware is missing that Glance requires?

    No Glance support?!!!

Makes me wonder if that reviewer really knows what Glance is, considering he/she mentions the "lock screen". The lock screen and Glance are separate things.

    No Glance support?!!!

Who called the Icon garbage? If you're referring to me, the OP, what I was referring to was the omission of the Glance feature as being "garbage". Sorry for the confusion.
