The eco system and turnaround on handsets just isn't keeping pace enough. I'm not alone it appears on people "waiting on flagship". That should never really be the case. Guess it doesn't help however with the fact manufacturers I hope are holding off for WP 10. Any current WP phone at a guess...

I won't be stuck. The plan would be a handset to put me on and if I liked and fancied the new flagship then a sell and buy. That's another reason why android (right now), they retain their value like double fold over WP handsets!! Shame but true. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

One of my pet hates when listing to music is how annoying it is to change a track etc. i.e. from main screen or lock you have to use volume and then VERY SPEEDILY click the next track button. The speed that volume control (inc. music controls) disappears is a joke. Is there anything I'm missing...

Went for a hard reset... sometime later still restoring settings, apps, data etc.. Phone was seen as a different phone so the APPS on the SD would not work :( meant I had to install them all again. Shame but least the store now makes that somewhat easier with a quick select list for previously...

That is what's happened BUT on the phone storage side of things. SD is fine! Can't remove these 1kb hidden files as they are protected. Worryingly imagine only solution is to hard reset phone.

Sorry to bump this but any one experience the same and manage to solve? Would rather not have to install all apps again.. Altho not sure what is best given the protected files are on the phone and not the SD where all apps are.

Following 8.1 install and a clear out of all music from SD card, followed by placing 3 albums on it I have issues. Whilst I can see the 3 new albums and play them, I also have listed some of the removed albums (not sure if all or not). In trying to play them it will just crap out to main screen...

Removed the Micro SD card from my phone... putting it back in and turning it back on, even soft resetting doesn't recognise it any more :( The phone continues to think no SD card exists, not even a format option. OK I didn't use the "remove SD card" button in storage BUT I wouldn't expect this...
