Blue stack allows you to create shortcut for individual apps. I forgot whether duoos allows you to do so. I haven't used them for a long time(no need for me). Blue stack used to have better UI, but duoos consumes less resources.

You can already do that with Android simulators. The best I tried are duos and blue stack.

Any modern OS contains at least two "setting", one is based on UI, the other one is based on command line. If co-existence of more than one "setting" means "inconsistency", then only DOS is consistent, because it only has command line.

Control panel will be there for power users, just like command line. For normal users, they won't bother with either control panel or command line.

In this case, it's a huge problem of windows store. I do notice another problem with Windows store rating and ranking. Many apps were released as free apps and earned a good rating, then suddenly, they increased to some ridiculous price but still preserved the reading and ranking they earned...

Does the original apps available in windows store? If yes, those rip-off apps should be taken off, if not, it is OK to have those rip-off apps. At least, they are taking care of windows users who were ignored by the original app makers. Rip off and cheating the ranking are not the same thing...
