Is this normal?

I still have my Band 1. I noticed just yesterday there seems to be a gap between the band and the HR sensor. One side more than the other. I'm wondering if this is normal or a sign of impending failure. I have less than a week left on my MS Complete.

It is not normal and you should have your band changed.

Yeah, that's what I'm worried about. My concern is that one clip has broken, and others are likely soon to follow. Since yours has come apart, how is it held together?

I had it changed for a new one with my Complete insurance.

I decided to go to the Microsoft store. Miracles of miracles, they had a Band 1 in my size. I thought I was going to have to send it in. Now I should be able to hold out for Band 3.

Band 3 better be awesome. Garmin just upped the game with the announcement of the v?voactive? HR. The notification side could be weak, but it seems to nail everything else. Including water resistant. And at $249. I'll bet the current sale price of $199 for Band 2 is about to become permanent.
