Random sudden data usage. "Data to restore"

Does anyone know what this is? I checked my phone and it had used 1GB of mobile data. It's never happened to me before? (That's what he said)

Hi,
This is an information screen showing you how your internet connection downloaded its updates.
Also will show your usage of mobile data and WiFi.
It is a newer UI for 8.1 update 2, as used on the 640 xl phone.

Where did you 1st turn on this phone. If in a store and changed language, speech etc. This with the OS updates may have used, 1GB of mobile data.
