Lumia 950 XL blank screen issue

Hi all,

I need a help. My 950XL goes blank when making a phone call. I understand for it to go blank (may be) but if the call went into answering machine I cannot wake the phone up to hung up. Is this an issue?

Same thing happening to me, phone shut off last night reset it to get it back on and now when I dial a number the screen goes blank.

Does tour screen protector cover the proximity sensor? Even though it's clear it still interfered.

that is correct, especially if using those anti-blue light screen protector and there isn't an open hole for the proximity sensor.

Same bet here, it usually is the proximity sensor being covered / dusted. I a device so new, I think it is covered. Dirty, Screen Protector...

I have the same issue the phone is new and this is happening from the first call I made

Just got a new 950 xl once you press dial screen go black and never light again till the call ended , I moved the protector and still have the same issue

It looks like some sensor fail. Try to install aida64 from store and look at sensors option.
I think that you need to see 9 different sensors,you will see if some of them not working.
I tried official B2X-SMARTAPP but it's so irritating for use.
