Blackberry 10 has been out for a couple of days, and wham! Blackberry has iPlayer.
I hope all the BBC IT decision makers get crotch rot. Grrr there bias makes me mad.

BB10 is going to end up gaining lots of app traction due to a few simple things

- BB10 has flash and html5.

- very easy to port apps... Minutes to do a basic port.

I hope MS starts to get some traction with the the possibility of windows 8, WP8, Xbox ecosystem... A lot of potential

Theres plenty more reasons to hate the BBC other than their IT policy. Dont think I have watched a programme on BBC1, 2 or 3 for months

Agreed, but this is where I got one over on them! I never watched much TV anyway. The analogue signal was switched off in my (UK) region a couple of years ago. I wasn't going to buy a digital TV for a few hours of viewing a week so I told them to stuff their licence. They refunded me pro-rata and I haven't needed a licence (~?150/year) since. Booyaka! Anything on the Beeb that I want to watch (about nil) I can see on iPlayer or some other catch-up thing. I see a catch-up has just come out for WP8, though streaming to a four inch mobile phone screen must have issues for all sorts of reasons. Anyway, I don't pay the robbing bandits any more!
