Researchers at the university of Noappa located in Germany have discovered a new complex ransomware unlike any other they have seen before. "We have been working on this for years, this is more sophisticated than any government backed hacking scheme we have seen" said Dr. Nosnap.
What lead researchers to discover this new ransomware? It seems after European markets became infested people started complaining more and more. But no one understood the seriousness of the issue. No one understood what was happening. The degree of sophistication left people confused.
What makes this ransomware unique is that it affects human brain wave patterns and forces people to purchase Microsoft phones. Users don't realize what has happened until they go home and boot up their phone. Mrs. Bugs was never aware of how it could affect someone so close to her. "I was extremely disappointed when my daughter brought home such an expensive phone. But she worked for her money so it was her choice. I didn't realize that she had no control over it. She booted up and started screaming, I ran upstairs and she was panicking. I wasn't sure what to do. She started crying "Where's Snapchat? WHERE? WHERE? WHERE IS MY HARD EARNED MONEY? What happened mom!!!?"
Researchers are still working on figuring out how hackers are doing this. It's estimated that at least 2.3 million people have been affected this quarter alone.
