Is it okay to keep the Surface Pro 3 plugged up after it had fully charged or am I over charging it? This was not issue at first for when the SP3 was fully charged I would unplug it and go about my business. However, now I have a docking station with external HD etc plugged into it so I must keep the docking station plugged in which in turn is charging the SP3.

Interesting question, but with the advancements of battery technology (and by that I mean barely....) the Surface Pro 3 should in theory stop charging when it reaches 100%, it's not like those 2003 laptops that you can overcharge if you leave it on all night. I mean sure the battery will always seem to get worse as time passes by but that's normal for lithium-ion.

So you don't have anything to worry about if you plug it in to your dock station and a wall outlet.
