Question regarding i5 and i7 and SP3

Hi everyone,

I am looking into a used SP3 And was wondering if the window 10 problems are something I need to reevaluate? Also is the battery life that bad after going to W10?

Lastly, I want an i7 but will it decrease battery life dramatically compare with the i5?

Lastly will an i5 with 8 gig ram run current games smoothly? Thanks

I upgraded i7 to Win10 last week and have no issues that would cause me to revert to win8.1 so far. Battery life seems better or equal to before and fan use seem lower than before so far.

Minor occasional issues with wifi connection on resume from sleep. Adaptor reset cures it immediately. I had this on a Sony Win8.1 laptop before and it was fixed with a driver update. Could be Intel or Marvell driver.
