Purchased my i5 yesterday. Only came out here two days ago. Appear to be selling well.
I have read numerous negative comments on the software with regard bugs and all sorts. Amazon had rather a lot?
I sincerely hope the bugs are software hiccups. I hate to jinx myself but to date mine is running just great. I do enjoy and respect the quality of construction. I don't mind paying for a device providing its quality and I have yet to read or see, on Youtube, a single negative regarding the quality of construction.
The screen is superb and the sheer versatility of this hybrid is a tribute to what those Microsoft engineers produced. I think my Surface 3 is great but this is certainly in a different league in so many areas.
It is very early days to write more. The new key board is superb, shame they don't include this with the device and add on 50.00€ to the total package. I suspect this will happen with future generations.
Have yet to even use the pen. I didnt get to bed until 04:00 hours so today am cream crackered. Non the less I had to play!
I hope those who have experienced software problems soon resolve them, in general this is where our friends at Apple tend to do better, they rarely release a product that is not already very well tested, always exceptions though. I think if MS had developed the software just a few more weeks so many very upset customers would not have returned their Surface pro 4. It's a shame as even those who have returned them all comment on it being the best hybrid device available in terms of functionality and quality they just could not tolerate the bugs?
Question if I may? I was confused to read that some customers when purchasing the Surface pro 4 did NOT have Windows 10 installed? I thought ALL Pro 4 came with Windows 10 professional installed at the factory? I may well be wrong. I am new to the world of Microsoft.
Kind regards to one and all, Ryland
