Hi- All I want to do is manually place Surface Pro 4 to sleep (not hibernate). I do not see that anywhere in advanced power options nor in google searches.

reason being is I dislike hibernate form old days and I tried it a couple times only to have to force shutdown-restart the PC with power button.

I have researched the registry hack to get advanced power setting etc but no sleep button nor function

Still on my SP3, build 14393.1066...

I thought sleep was gone for machines with hyper-v but I have hyper-v and I see sleep when hitting the power button icon in start.

On my Surface 3 with 15063.296 the sleep option is there. This is a Windows Home version though... Nonetheless, it's not the build removing it.... something else happened. Sorry I don't have any other insight
