I could tell the hot air ballon picture (in one of the shots) looked more vivid with high contrast, not necessarily darker. So without further ado...



so that one looked exactly like the videos of the Surface Studio to me. All it is, is the original picture with the vibrant filter from PS Express over it. This next one is the original with Contrast Punch filter on it...

The original might have been a HDR image, and it just looked darker when viewed through a regular sRGB monitor.
