If you go out to the MS store site and click on accessories, the power adapter listed says "works exclusively with Surface Pro." I just confirmed with a store agent (who double check this) that the Surface Pro and Surface RT have different power adapters and the one on the site right now IS DEFINITELY the one for the Surface RT. He said Pro accessories are supposed to hit the Store site at midnight PST on the 9th. So if you are looking for an extra power adapter, DO NOT ORDER THE ONE THAT IS ON THE SITE RIGHT NOW.

Others are saying the RT power adapter works on the Pro.

the pro is certainly higher voltage, it was my understanding that you might be able to swap them... but if the rt charger is slower, I wouldn't want to.
