Was one of the lucky ones to pick up the Surface Pro on February 9th at the Windows Store in Pittsburgh. Love the tablet and definitely light years ahead of the iPad for business use. Was not happy with the Windows keyboard covers; either the touch or the type. God awful. So, here are some pictures of my set up:

Windows Surface Pro 128g + 64g MicroSD Card
Microsoft Wedge Surface Mouse
Apple Wireless Keyboard (hands down the finest wireless keyboard out there IMHO)
Microsoft Surface carrying case bought at the Microsoft store

Everything works. Had to download the Apple Wireless Keyboard helper utility app to get functionality of some of the f keys, but nearly all the new Windows 8 shortcut keys work perfectly. Take a look....

The case is meant for travel and portability. I do not keep it in the case when I'm working, so the concerns on covering the vent is not an issue. I just wanted a convenient way to carry the SP and keyboard to meetings, airports, in my car, etc. Seems to work for me.

You mean because I have a Microsoft SP and an Apple Wireless Keyboard :)

Yeah, I guess that is sorta funny, isn't it! Truth be told, my main laptop is a 13" MacBook Pro. I run Parallels and have Windows Pro 8 on that machine as well. I have become accustomed to the Mac keyboards and I simply love the wireless ones. Don't want to be tethered to the SP like the touch and type keyboards they sell do.
