I don't fully understand your comment. Are you not a gamer? If so, that would make sense.

Game emulators allow you to play many/all of the old games on a device not designed to play that type of media disc/etc. In this case, an emulator app for the Surface (for example, let's say a Playstation emulator) would allow the Surface RT to be used as a very cool gaming device. This would be a great marketing point when talking with other gamers, etc who are deciding between competing tablets.

TegraZone will be coming soon. :)
NVIDIA will also extend its popular TegraZone application to Windows RT to make it easy for gamers to identify the most compelling games for Tegra-powered Windows RT devices.

Glad to hear about the TegraZone, though I never really used it on my Asus Transformer! I want emulators because of the keyboard and the "no steps needed" ability to have the 360 controller work with it.

It's unlikely that any console emulators would make it into the Windows Store. Given that it's your only source of apps, the future of game emulators on RT isn't very bright.

Why do you say that? There are emulators in the WP marketplace...
