Mail App: some accounts EAS not working

I have added about 5 mail accounts in the Mail app. All the mail accounts are Google apps hosted so I am able to use the Exchange ActiveSync protocol when adding the accounts.

The problem I'm experiencing is that after I added the first 3 accounts successfully, the 4th and 5th don't give me the "As new items arrive" option in the "Download new email" drop-down in the account settings. So I can only choose the "every 15/30" minutes option, hourly or manual options. The first 3 accounts show "As new items arrive" correctly.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I even tried uninstalling the app and re-configuring the accounts, but same thing.

Any help would be great appreciated.
