    Hiya Folks,

I'm having a bit of an issue with Java on some sites.

I am asked to install it, once I click the link, head to the Java website and click the download link it just basically just reloads the Java page.

Is Java compatable? Assuming it would be as it's used on a lot of sites. This happens in both the dektop version and tablet version of IE.

I might be doing something a bit silly lol. I've done a search but can't really find anything

    Cheers!

    S.

My guess is that Java isn't available for ARM processors (esp for Windows RT). Though I may be wrong.

You aren't wrong. There is no comparable plugin and there never will be.

Actually, on a Microsoft blog post back in April, it was planned to support Java. It would have to be compiled for ARM. I'm sure it got pushed down the list as other features were more important. So who knows, we may see it someday.
