Setting up OUTLOOK on the Surface Win RT with an Exchange -- Can't see "certificates"

I have had the Surface Win RT now for 2 weeks and have been struggling to set up OUTLOOK to use with my company's exchange server.
I complete the steps to add an account with Server, Domain, etc. only to get the error that certificates need to be installed on this (Surface) device.
My IT department sent me the certificate which is a pfx extension.
I go through the steps to import into the Trusted Root Certification Authorities and even get the "Import Successful" notification.
However, the certificate does not show up in the folder -- as a result, I cannot complete the Outlook connection to Exchange.

Any advice?
Microsoft walked me through the same process and could not resolve.

My last resort is to download TOUCHDOWN which worked extremely well on my Android base.
