How best to speed up a slow and full-ish Surface RT Tablet - Original Edition ?

Apps run/load slow sometimes, sometime freeze, as does going into settings. Use OneDrive, keeping most files there, but RT reports less than 4-2GB space, and I can't honestly see what uses up most of the tablet capacity.

Have you created the recovery media, if so then the same utility can remove that partition to free up space. I found that my Surface RT would slow down when storage was low, I never found out what caused it to fill the storage so drastically.
