My 1020 "hover scrolls" on certain sites?

I noticed today that while browsing certain mobile sites, that I can scroll the page with my thumb without it actually tipping the screen & hovering slightly above the screen. I thought I was going crazy at first, but its def there. Anyone else? Is this normal?

Yeah. But still, how is it scrolling without touching the screen?

because your screen is very sensitive if you set it high

it's supposed to be used if you're using gloves
other than that, it's not much useful
