Everybody with an issue, try a class 6 instead of the class 10 you have. Lots of devices claim to use the latest, then have issues with anything above class 6.

I realise this is a Lumia 1520 thread but I thought I would share my experience of microSD Cards and WP8. I use a Sandisk Ultra 32GB microSD Card formatted as exFAT in my ATIV S. Formatting as exFAT solved all the issues I was having.

Is there any way to easily transfer the music and/or photos that are on my phone memory to the SanDisk 32gb card I installed?

It seems like not many people pay attention that this is lumia1520 thread :(

The title doesn't make that clear and in the mobile app people don't always look where it's posted. To be fair a lot of Nokia owners add posts in the Samsung and HTC forums as well!!

Hey,
This is some tests For my Lumia 1520.1, I have tried 2 sdcard:
1. Old 8GB micro SDHC I got from my Xperia Arc S (no brand visible on the card).
Tried recording 1080 30fps (tested for 25 secs) & play, play musics, play 1 1080 mkv & 1080 mp4 movies with each filesize under 2Gb. All smooth!
2. SanDisk Ultra microSDHC Card UHS-I Class 10 (30MB/s) 32GB with SD Card Adapter - SDSDQUA-032G. I bought this card previously for my Gopro hero3 black (worked flawlessly for gopro).
Tried recording 1080 30fps (tested for 25 secs) & play, play musics, play Two 1080 mp4s movies with filesize 1,84Gb & 2,18Gb. All smooth!

Soon I'll have to put those 2 microsds back to their place (old arc s + hero3), so I will have to purchase a new one for my 1520.
I'd like to grab Sandisk 16gb/32gb Extreme Pro for its advertised 95mb/sec, but from what I read here, some people has trouble with theirs. Now I'm not so sure.
Or.... should I just get the same card to (card number 2/Sandisk Ultra 32Gb) for its 30mb/s? Or can I have any noticable performance/speed from the extreme model(anyone with test&confirmation?)?

Thanks.

I have a 32 GB Sandisk Micro SD card. After DP 8.1 it was not being recognized in my Lumia 525.I had forgotten to remove my SD card during the update. Now it is not being recognized in any device. I have tried in a SD card reader, Samsung Galaxy Pop, Lumia 520, Nolia 2700, Nokia 6630 and Nokia 5800.
I had a similar issue in the same SD card on Samsung Galaxy Pop, when I removed the SD card without dismounting it. It was locked to that device. I don't remember how I got it working again. I think I just put it in the same device and it started working again.
I have restored my Lumia 525 back to WP8, but it is still not recognizing my SD card.
Please help.

I use a Toshiba 32GB Class 10 UHS-1 MicroSD in a Lumia 1520 RM-937 and it runs perfectly and without any catches, does more than the advertised speed too
