I've got one Kingston 16GB and one SanDisk 32GB. Both have worked perfectly well for many years. Never had any problems with crashes or when switching phones

SanDisk Ultra 64 GB microSDXC Class 10 UHS-1 Memory Card 30MB/s. I have seemed to have found an issue with it. When loaded to almost full, 2.96gb free, it is causing the phone to lock up.

I believe that is the same SD card I use. Haven't had the issue you are describing and I've been down to < 2GB free storage on it. Currently at about 2.36GB free storage on it. Also only have about 2.13GB free on the internal storage.

I purchased the Lexar SD card. It supposedly is triple the speed of the Sandisk (30mb vs 90mb). Specs are on Amazon if you want to compare. Of course real world performance may differ. It is also double the price too, although stable video recordings may make it worthwhile.

SanDisk 64 GB Extreme. it's a manly man's SD card :)
Can record 1080 video to the sd, where as my old ultra would stutter.
now I just need apps, xbox video, xbox music without dupes to my SD.

I too have a sandisk ultra 64gb it stutters unlike some on the commenters here. I have sent it back for a replacement to see if the card was indeed faulty writing at only 8mbps instead of the proposed up to 30mbps. If this card acts the same I'll try for a different brand.
