Ordered from Amazon last week.

Fits on to the phone nicely and feels secure, and seems to help with gripping the phone, without adding any real bulk to it.

The front seems to have picked up some dirt already, but the photo makes it look worse

Hoping the rear protects the camera

as you can see, the camera is now slightly recessed by a few mm.

The stand is a little tricky to get right, and has fallen down a couple of times, so there may be a knack to it.

Its a good viewing angle though.

and, as normal, the cat is enjoying the box thats too small for her :-)

The stand alone is worth it if you're watching Alice Eve!

In all seriousness, I really like this case and it has protected my 1520 very well. The ability for it act as a stand is a bonus. Not to mention, I got it for free

Looks good. Funny cat too. :)

I had a flip cover on my 920 and hated it because it interferes with one handed use. Believe it or not, I'm getting better at using the 1520 with one hand. Takes some gymnastics but it's possible. The flip cover also made it harder to put in my car's phone cradle. Looks good though and the built in stand makes me jealous.

My two issues with this case are the lack of any magnetic latching system to keep the cover closed, and the back being covered with greasy looking streaks. I can't seem to get them off no matter what! I saw one in the MS store with the same streaks, so I figure it's the finish, and not my greasy hands...

That's why I snagged the Belkin Folio. It does stay closed, and the way it supports the phone in stand mode is more stable.

Yes that case is much more stable and protective. I had that case originally but returned it, as it was just a bit too bulky for me.

Quick update:
The 1520 still charges with the case on, using my 920 wireless pad :)
and also noticed last night, that its a bit tricky to now hold when taking pics, as you can't fold the case over, as it blocks the lense. :-S

Yeah the Folio I mentioned is the same way...taking photos or video can be awkward.

Yes... this seems to be my only gripe with this case. But I've learned to grab the phone using my fingertips at all four corners with the flap dangling. My thumbs at the bottom corners and at the upper corners (using the camera in landscape mode), I use my middle fingers leaving my index fingers free for the shutter button or to tap the screen.

It's fine...takes a little getting used to but does the job. Thanks for the picture. I've had mine since day one but couldn't figure out how to make the stand work.

I made a thread about this case,, basically saying why did nokia only put one hole in the for 4 microphones, and one for the entire speaker? The speakers isn't as clear with this case on and the audio recording is sacrificed. Ive ordered a genuine leather one for it, at considerable expense, but its much better. Its a shame because the rest of the case is really nice as you have shown.

I'll leave this here, just to share my experience with the CP-623:

I noticed this as well. Haven't had any issues with scratches on displays over the past 4 smartphones (i8910, i9000, Lumia 800, i8750). Yet somehow I've gotten two or three really shallow scratches on my 1520.

I blame the Nokia CP-623 case in my situation. I used my phone without case for the first week, until I received my CP-623 Flip Case. I thought the flap would be a good idea to protect the screen. Put it in the case without scratches, and three days later I noticed the scratches. My phone is always in a separate pocket, no obvious sand or other stuff in there. But I guess something was trapped between the flap and the screen and scratched it when the flap moved around. Quite a disappointment.

Also, the hard plastic corners on the CP-623 can actually damage your phone. I noticed wear on the phone body beneath the two upper corners right where the case clips around it. What's the point of the case if it damages your phone? I've gone back to no case at all.

Good to know about the "fingerprint" streak problems. That is a huge pet peeve of mine.

Also, any pet experts out there care to explain:

What is it between cats and boxes?? Setting up our Christmas tree with our cat determined to make himself at home in it even before the tree parts were out of it sure would have been funny if it was happening to someone else....

Not a cat expert but I often suspect they like the smell of cardboard. It must give off some scent they can't get enough of.

DITTO! I just bought this, what a waste. Especially for 'genuine'. Which leather case did you buy?
