How's the rubber around your screen?

I seem to be getting some tears in it...

Also curious to hear from the people who've put a case on. I've heard that for some cases it's kind of scary, so I'm wondering if any damage was done to the rubber when putting on a case.

Mine seams fine still looks like new. I have a screen saver on my device and I use the Incipio Wireless charging case.

I have a couple of tears on mine and I am using the official Nokia flip case. The two tears are both situated on the left hand side of the device.

I use a clear plastic flexible case and it covers the rubber so it still looks new

No problems here. I don't use a case or screen protector.

I didn't even notice there was rubber around the screen until this thread, but mine looks fine. No case, no protector.

I've had the skinomi protector for quite awhile... but I can't find a time where I won't be using my phone for at least 12 hours to put it on, LOL.
