I was inspired recently by this thread from Loco5150: http://forums.windowscentral.com/nokia-lumia-1520/331838-thinking-about-changing-cover-color.html

He had a white 1520 and wanted to swap to a black case... along the way I suggested he use the white buttons and trays in the black case. The result was very nice.

I thought it looked classy and should be called the "Tuxedo."

I was geeked to try something similar. My Yellow 1520.3 has black buttons... Add black trays and TaDa!!!!!

Where did u order ur casing from and what components did u have to transfer?? Did u have to transfer the audio jack?

The white on black "tuxedo" was done by Loco5150 and the details are in his thread which I linked in the OP: http://forums.windowscentral.com/nokia-lumia-1520/331838-thinking-about-changing-cover-color.html I believe he started with a white 1520 and moved the components into a black case, borrowing the trays and buttons from the original white unit. See his thread for complete details.

The black on yellow "bumble bee" was much easier. I already had a yellow 1520.3 and noticed it had black buttons. I simply ordered these black trays from Amazon and swapped out my factory yellow trays. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUwpUvbUpU3013891

I have a white case, can I get the black buttons anywhere separately? And can I change the buttons only?

so I just received my yellow L1520 international phone and took the sim + mem tray out of my black AT&T L1520 and decide to mix em! check out the pics I took, sorry for the bad quality as my SP3 takes horrible pictures!

Or, instead of being limited to a few colors, you could get yourself some painter's tape and a can of your favorite brand and color of spray paint and go nuts. You can even do glossy or matte, textured, chrome, primer gray, etc. The skys the limit.
