So you're asking if it can be plugged in overnight without anything bad happening in the long run? You could probably get away with it IMO, I believe it's a common happening for most phones.
But without battery drain? It will degrade regardless over time as with all. But if it's plugged in overnight, I'm not sure on that..

Yes. Leave it on overnight. It will not harm the battery in way shape or form. The 520 has a Lithium Ion battery. The charging circuitry in the phone turns off the charge to the battery when the battery reaches a full charge. This is actually mandatory for charging Li-ion batteries, otherwise they explode. So all phones with Li-ion or Li-polymer batteries can be left on charge overnight without any problems whatsoever.
