Delay before screen turns off?

Sometimes when I lock my phone the screen doesn't turn off straight away; it goes like this dark shade of blue for a few seconds before going properly black afterwards. I know it's not really a big deal or anything, but I'm just curious if anyone else gets this?

same here on my lumia 520...i think its normal nd happens some times

it would be great if some other Lumia user an confirm having other model !!

that happened in my 520 too when i was charging it, i played a bit when charging and when i noticed the phone got really hot and i turned the screen off
didn't happen anytime else
