Nokia Lumia 520 will not get GDR3 ?

I would guess it won't. I don't really believe my Lumia 920 will either. A lot could change by the time it's released and we'll know as we get closer if the Lumia 920 has whatever GDR3 needs. Not to mention the biggest roadblock in AT&T and its motivation to sell NEW phones rather than keep and support older technology around.

if you think about it, there is not much GDR3 would bring to the 520 so I don't find it too surprising. Probably skipping it for 8.1 is the best deal.

#Nokia #Lumia_520 is not going to have the taste of some GDR3 features due a hardware incompatibility.

The features we aren't getting on GDR3 as I understand are:-
-1080p Screen Support (1920*1280 resolution)
-Snapdragon 800 Support
-Quad Core CPU Support
-Silent NFC
While we'll get pretty much everything else mentioned here
