Phone Storage Problem

Hi

I have a lumia 520 with a 32gb card installed. I have my settings under phone storage set to use the sd card for new music and videos as well as pics. For some reason Nokia Music keeps storing my offline mixes on the phone memory instead of the sd card, then I get a message saying my phone is almost full but that I can change the settings to use sd card under phone storage ! Rdio music app is also storing music on my phone instead of the card. I tried installing the latest update on my phone and there wasn't even enough space. I freed enough up by deleting mixes from Nokia music and then tried installing my update and it now seems stalled. Under phone update, status- it says preparing to install 100 %. Anybody else experience this?

For Mixes, it is stored temporarily on the phone (when you select, listen offline).
If you download any song from Nokia Music it'll be stored on your card.

I don't have radio (no GDR 2) so cannot comment on the other part.
