why has my nokia lumia 520 run out of battery and now wont turn on further than the nokia sign?

my phone died and when I went to charge it, it only comes up with the nokia sign and then shuts off again, this is a repeated process and its really annoying.

- Try the soft and hard reset button combo (not at the same time lol)

- Try the Lumia Recovery Tool

- Try charging the battery overnight

If all of this fails then it's most likely hardware related

Leave it plugged in and stop pushing buttons.

When you run the battery flat the chip inside the battery goes into a coma. It takes several hours for it to wake up and when it does the phone will boot and regular charging will resume from about 3% battery. It will not run or charge until the chip in the battery wakes up.

The more you interrupt this process the greater the chance you will damage your battery.

Be patient.
