I think I'd be patient with HSN. While I understand your frustration with the delay, I'm sure they had thousands of orders this weekend with the $99 price.

My friend who has been using a Lumia 710 since early 2012 ordered one the other week. I have an 810 and a 920 and was even tempted to get one. At that price, it was difficult to resist.

Yeah. I couldn't resist. I own an 810 and a 925 and my 521 just arrived today. Oops.

Hopefully mine arrives tomorrow. UPS handed it off to USPS so well see when it shows up. Never turns out well when this happens, but not HSN's fault.

It's more that, in my area, getting your mail via USPS is a coin flip. Clearly not a widespread thing.

What happened to the prices? If memory serves, 2 weeks ago the 521 was selling for $115 at both T-Mobile and Amazon....And HSN had it for a mere $100! Now the device is selling for $145 at most places.... (!)

I'm not seeing the $145 prices. I show HSN still has it for $119, Walmart for $129, Amazon is out of stock but their price is $129 (just, since it is out of stock, you have to select other buying choices). I don't think the price has really changed, $129 is the typical price it will sell for, with occasional drops (like the $99 at HSN) when it goes on sale.

Have you thought about getting a micro-to-mini SIM card adapter?

Has anyone activated the HSN purchased phone with T-Mobile's $30 plan or does that require a different SIM card than the one shipping with the device?
I received my $79 (after coupon) HSN Lumia 521 last week and was able to activate it online on T-Mobile's $30 plan using the SIM that shipped with the phone. The only issue I encountered was adding money to the account after I activated the plan. T-Mobile's glitchy website kept timing out on the last step of the payment process and would never complete the credit card transaction. I simply called the customer service number and gave the rep my new phone number and credit card number and he was able to add $30 to my account. I hope they fix the payment glitch before I have to add more money next month; otherwise I'll just buy a $30 T-Mobile prepaid card and add its value to my account.
