so i'm gonna get a 5j first thing in the morning tomorrow, just wanna know how many of you have it on your 620s and is the difference noticeable ?

It's a 1320 mAh battery, which isn't much different from the BL-4J 1300 mAh.

The new BL-5J is 1430 mAh and not 1320 mAh. It is powering the current Lumia 520 model. So you can expect the battery life of a Lumia 520.
But the battery is a little bit thicker. You better try it on the 620 before buying it.
Refer here.

That's for the old composition. Its actually 1430 mAh for the new ones.

No noticeable difference in weight, you'll need to remove the thick strip in order for it to fit snugly in the shell.
Also, there's at least a small improvement in battery life.

I read some old post about this battery.. Want to know whether it will create some problem for phone?? or void warranty.. etc..

also is there any higher capacity batteries for the L620?

how long does your battery last on moderate to heavy usage?
(1-2 hour browsing, around 20 mins call, fair bit of music and some games? )

i've used bl-5c on a 1202 for more than an year, i know its not a smartphone or anything but , nothing happened only issue was that it didn't fit properly.
but on the 620 bl-5j fits perfectly.

Also, for all the people brave enough to do this, you could always use your BL-4Js as backup batteries.

You know, the batteries your phones come with.

The only problem it is the power button that cannot be pressed softly as before, sometimes the camera button. The battery is slightly bigger than bl-4j.

If you pull the padding from the inside of the back shell the BL5J will fit properly and the buttons will work better. Of course, this will mean the original battery will be loose, if you decide to use it as a spare.
