Touch screen unresponsive

I was given a lumia 625 which had been working fine, but after I put my sim card & sd card from my other phone in I haven't been able to do anything as screen is not responding. The only way I can turn it off is by turning the phone upside down & swiping down numerous times quickly.Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. The back, start & search keys all work ok but nothing on the actual screen. Would buying a new touch screen digitizer cure this or is there another way?:crying:

Re: Touch screen unresponsive

Welcome to Windows Central.

It appears that a connector or belt inside your phone is loose. You may not need to buy a new touch screen digitzer at all. If you can open your phone, connecting that cable/belt should be easy.

However, if your phone is still under warranty, take it to a service center and have them do the repairs.
