Pictures and videos taken with your Lumia 635

As for the "creative" aspect of the shooting ability with the Lumia camera, I noticed that it has a broader range of options than the WP camera.

Point well taken.
Pureview hardware will of course make the most use out of Lumia cam.

Wishing the 635 had an led flash built in.
I still like this phone a lot after having it since June I shoot pics daily with it.

Pureview is amazing I kinda miss my 920 every once on a while. I'd shoot all sorts of things on the daily just cause lol. I agree with wishing it had flash. So on a day to day, taking shots on full auto settings which would you prefer... Native camera or Lumia camera?

Some of these photos are amazing. Vibrant colours and a good level of detail.

I'm getting this phone in a few days, and look forward to adding some snaps to this thread.

Ok so this is an unedited pic of my neighborhood taken from the hill that overlooks it. Image was taken with ProShot on auto mode.

Some pictures from my trip in Toronto at the Casa Loma Castle

It would appear this phone can take more than adequate photos contrary to the opinions of some members. Very nice pics in this thread from an excellent device!

Some very nice pics in here! Thanks for sharing, all! Made the decision to switch over to the Lumia 635 on Boost Mobile to save ourselves a bit of money. Have used a Lumia 1520 and HTC One M8 for Windows and been impressed with the camera quality from both. I can see that the Lumia 635 won't let me down, either. :)

I came to this phone from an old HTC T-Mobile G2 (not to be confused with the recent LG "G2" phone). The G2 was a high end phone when I got it and had a 5MP camera with flash. The camera on the 635 is far superior. I don't know if it's better optics, a better sensor, or a combination of the two, but it's just no contest. Often I don't feel that I need to bring a better device to take pictures for events like family gatherings or camping trips. I am extremely impressed with this camera.

NOKIA/LUMIA (now Microsoft/LUMIA) has long had a very good reputation for very good cameras in their phones.

Available light picture.
Handheld on auto settings with the Lumia camera under the W10 preview.

I was pretty impressed.

Wondering what a phone with the full featured camera can do with the new test OS...

I honestly hardly ever touch the camera on this phone. It's always slow to load and the photos are average at best. Although there are a few good ones in here.

Can you be more specific on load time? After a hard reset and a wiped sd card my 635 with win10 takes about 2-3 seconds for the camera app to load. I'm ok with average photo quality on a phone with a 5 mp camera and quite satisfied with overall camera performance.

It use to take like 10+ seconds every time with W8.1 and would often not even load at all. Right now with W10 it’s taking 3-4 seconds on average.
