Will HTML5 do the same thing as adobe flash player? I know there some places on the web that require to have flash player to view the page. Will HTML5 allow me to view these pages?

Flash is dying. Even Adobe has gone on record as saying HTML5 is better and that people should migrate to it. (Adobe to cease developing mobile Flash plugin for Android and PlayBook, says ZDNet | The Verge)
They will disable new downloads of Flash for Android on August 15th and the newest version of Android can't run it at all (Flash won't be supported in Android 4.1, new installs to be disabled on August 15th | The Verge)

No, HTML5 will not let you view Flash content. Website should update to HTML5 though as it is much more widely supported. All PC, Mac, Android, iOS, and Windows Phone browsers support HTML5. No mobile browsers support Flash going forward, and IE10 Metro for Windows 8 only supports it on certain sites.

In short, no, you will never see Flash content on your phone, but Flash content should be going away more and more rapidly from here on out.

Here is a recent thread on this forum discussing Flash in much more detail: http://forums.windowscentral.com/upcoming-rumored-devices/194339.htm
